Symposia

April 2025 (ENG): Parkinson's Disease,

We hosted the final event of this academic year. Parkinson’s specialist Prof. Dr. Bas Bloem gave a thought-provoking and engaging presentation on various facets of Parkinson’s disease — from the critical need to limit harmful pesticide exposure as a preventive measure, to the remarkable role of music in alleviating motor symptoms such as rigidity. Thanks to his passionate and engaging storytelling, he managed to teach our members a great deal about Parkinson’s in an interactive way!

A big thank you to Prof. Dr. Bas Bloem and all the students who joined us for this great finale!

February 2025 (ENG): Sleep and Dreaming

Dr. Dresler from the Donders Institute gave an interactive lecture on the neuroscience behind sleep and dreaming. During the lecture, we discussed the latest somnological insights into the mechanisms of sleep, lucid dreaming, and fundamental studies in the field. If you ever had a lucid dream or experience them regularly, Dr. Dresler is looking for you to participate in his latest research! If you're interested, feel free to reach out to us, or dr. Dresler directly at: martin.dresler@gmail.com.

Thanks to all attendees and Dr. Dresler! Hopefully, see you next time.

NOVEMBER 2024 (NL): Verslaving symposium

In november hadden wij dr.
